1.
Choose a photograph of a landscape. This one was taken in the Conservatory
of Flowers in San Fransisco with my little digital camera. |
2. Duplicate the
layer by dragging the background layer over the "duplicate layer"
icon in the Layers palette. |
3.Work
on the Background Copy layer by clicking on it. Then in your menu bar
choose Edit/Transform/Flip Horizontal. |

Set the Blending Mode to "Multiply". (See graphic above) |
5.
If the resulting blended image is too dark try choosing "Lighten"
as the Blending Mode instead. Too light? Try "Darken". The image completely changes between these blending options. They're fun to play with. |

Here's the result. I couldn't resist adding a little fairy to the fantasy
scene. :-) |
