Some suggestions for a successful party:
Fairy Tea Party-invite party go-ers to dress in their fanciest party dresses and suits! ...or as fairies and elves. None of the projects are too messy. For refreshments how about miniature cupcakes, tea sandwiches,....and/or bon-bons. I will supply the lemonade "tea" so don't bring drinks or cups.
Art Party- ask party go-ers to "dress for mess". They can also just bring Dad's big old T-shirt to cover-up. For refreshments how about unfrosted cupcakes and supply the frosting, sprinkles and icing and turn it into an art project? We will be making "fake cakes" with whipped soap and colored glue icing. They may enjoy making something they can actually eat!
Incidentals for either party: The birthday child can open gifts here, we have a special birthday chair for this. Lighting candles is okay. You don't HAVE to stay and help clean up...but it would be appreciated! :) Thank you for considering Avalon Arts for your celebration!
